Boarding

Boarding

Prytania Veterinary Hospital is pleased to offer boarding services for cats, dogs, and even exotic animals such as ferrets, rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs.

Our kennel technicians are trained to provide the very best care for your pet during their stay with us. All of our boarding facilities are air-conditioned and indoors. Dogs are walked outside three times a day and enjoy a complimentary bath and ear cleaning with a stay of three nights or more. We can administer medications, perform treatments, and provide any veterinary or grooming needs during your pets’ stay.

We can accommodate any size dog, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. We have a separate, quiet room for cats away from the dogs.

We feed Science Diet food products (included in the price) but you are welcome to bring your own food.

Please feel free to stop by anytime for a tour. If you would like to make a reservation, you can call us at 504-899-2828 or request a reservation online.

Reservations are recommended, especially during the busy holiday season, but we often have availability the same day.

For the health of all, pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and dogs must have had a negative intestinal parasite screen within the past year. Please see below for vaccine requirements. All pets are administered a Capstar tablet upon arrival to preserve a flea-free environment, which is an additional charge.
